Do you ever dream of having a class where every teenager is engaged?

If you do, we have something in common!

High school students report having high levels of boredom at school,

many viewing their time spent in class as learning useless information.

This made me reconsider our role as teachers in delivering instruction that engages our students. From perusing research articles to performing demonstrations, I noticed factors that seemed to capture their attention and elevate their effort. The more I learned however, the more I realized the room for growth.
